and the internet wants it that way
I kept telling myself I wasn’t writing my next book as fast because it was too heavy.
Trauma. Dark themes. Emotionally exhausting arcs. Digging deep into prickly memories and twirling them until I found a way to make them hurt more and bleed less. Of course I was blocked, right?
WRONG
I wasn’t blocked. I was fried.
Deep-fried. Extra crispy. Brain served with a side of doomscrolling and a dipping sauce of constant stimulation.
And who can blame me?
